Words perhaps can't do justice here, which is why it has taken me a while to write this review. I cannot speak highly enough of Melanie Furmston, my property manager for the past 11 years. In that time she has been nothing short of exceptional. I take pride in keeping my properties in great condition and my tenants well looked after, and with Mel in my corner, I have never needed to worry. Her knowledge spans so many areas that nothing seems to faze her, and her efficiency and organisation are unlike anything I have encountered. What truly sets Mel apart, however, is her genuine care. On more than one occasion she has gone well beyond the scope of a typical property manager to support me. She has become more than a property manager, she has played a key role in my overall property journey. If you are looking for someone who will treat your investment as if it were her own, look no further. Mel and her wonderful team and R&H colleagues will look after you. Thank you, Mel.

I enquired about renting out the house I own and was met with a passive aggressive tone. Melanie Fumstone laughed and said I was “too young to own a house.” I’ve noticed other reviews mentioning Melanie too, and the standard “no record” replies make it seem like complaints aren’t taken seriously. In the end, I contacted the agent who originally sold me my property, who is now a principal at another real estate agency, and had no issues at all. I also don’t want to speak to Katie, I already found an agent and am simply leaving this review for others.

AVOID THIS REAL ESTATE! HEALTH CONCERNS! Didn’t know people could care so little about someone’s health as the people at Raine & Horne. We were lied to about mould being “sun discolouration” on the condition report and they have failed to rectify anything in a timely manner. (It has been over 3 months). The walls are saturated and mould is all throughout the apartment which apparently they didn’t notice (isn’t that their job to make sure the property is of safe living conditions?). They also included photos of the mould in the condition report!?!?!?! The staff are rude, unprofessional and incompetent. When we went in to express our concerns we were made out as liars and being disrespectful towards them. They have allowed us to move into a property that is unsafe and we are paying almost $700 a week rent! Would not recommend anyone to use this real estate agency. Completely agree with other people’s reviews on how this business is even still running and how these people still have a licence to practice… further training and competent staff is essential! But it doesn’t seem as though they take on anyone’s feedback looking at other reviews. Will be taking further actions :( a few photos attached for reference.

Melanie (my PM) and the team have been proactive in all dealings, the app/portal is easy to use and track your property & their trades are fairly priced while delivering excellent work. Highly recommended as a PM for investors.

Just want to thank Chloe for her hard work throughout the year...Very quick to help with house repairs, difficult situations and always has a caring attitude...Thanks Chloe, Karen and Terry Whiteley
