If I could give Jane Mercer ten stars, I would. I cannot speak highly enough of her, and this review barely does her justice. I was purchasing a company-title apartment - one of the most notoriously fiddly, paperwork-heavy transactions you can take on - and by the time things came to a head, my settlement had completely collapsed. It was dead in the water. It was going to take at least a week to fix, or more. Then Jane stepped in. What she achieved in the space of about 24 hours was nothing short of extraordinary. In a single day she took over the authority to act, sorted my ID verification, prepared the costs agreement, drove the stamp duty assessment through the OSR, rebuilt the amended settlement figures and Direction to Pay, and personally coordinated every single party involved - the selling side, the settlement agent, my mortgage broker and the bank. She rescheduled and got my purchase across the line, the next business day, when it looked utterly impossible. But it wasn’t just the result - it was the way she did it.
