Extremely disappointing experience with management I have been operating my business at the Chateau for close to six years, and as a barber for 13 years, I take my business, my clients and my professional reputation very seriously. Unfortunately, my experience with the management of this property has been deeply disappointing. During my tenancy, I have dealt with several different representatives, including Valentin Yudalev, Dora and Tippy. There have been repeated changes in management and, in my experience, a consistent lack of transparency, consistency and professionalism in the way matters have been handled. My most recent experience was particularly unacceptable. During a conversation regarding my lease renewal, I felt I was spoken to in a dismissive, aggressive and disrespectful manner. The conversation left me with the impression that my tenancy and my business were being treated as an inconvenience rather than a legitimate business relationship. I was offered only a two-year renewal. After almost six years of successfully operating my business from the property, I do not consider two years to provide reasonable security or stability for a business that requires long-term planning and investment. I therefore did not accept the offer. What I found most disappointing was the manner in which the situation was communicated to me. I was made to feel that I should somehow be grateful simply for being offered two years, rather than having a professional discussion about the future of a long-standing tenant and business. I have always tried to conduct myself professionally and respectfully. I expect the same in return. This review is not about demanding special treatment. It is about basic professionalism, respect and transparency. If you are a business owner considering leasing here, I strongly recommend that you carefully consider the level of communication and support you may receive once you become a tenant. I am sharing my experience because prospective tenants deserve to know that this has been my experience. Six years of operating a business at a property should count for something, and tenants should never be made to feel that their legitimate concerns are a waste of someone's time. My experience has been extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend entering into a tenancy without carefully considering these issues first.
