I had the privilege of be assisted by Mary and Pamela in my process of application and viewing of rental property. I had viewed and applied for a few other places and they were a little cheaper, but with the accomodating nature of both girls especially Mary made Me want to take this property on for lease after I was approved with another real estate. They realy made you feel welcomed and at ease, and made the process very easy. I would recommend using them to rent your property or to lease one. I also valued the communication being easy with all calls answered or texted when couldn’t answer. And was able to communicate effectively through texts to.

I rented through Mayfair for under a year and found the experience consistently frustrating and disappointing. As other reviewers have noted, I often felt that the agency prioritised the interests of building management and owners over fair and reasonable treatment of tenants. Their approach to parking issues was particularly punitive. On multiple occasions, our garage access was disabled for a whole month because either I or legitimate guests had briefly used visitor parking (which is strictly limited to 4 hours). This created unnecessary stress and inconvenience. They also tried to issue me a $500 “fine” for visitor parking issues, outside the proper NCAT process. This was unlawful, felt exploitative to those who don't know their rights and was inappropriate and intimidating as a tenant, and it was withdrawn only after I sought legal advice and raised concerns about the correct legal procedures and reporting to NSW Fair Trading. Additionally, the agency attempted to increase the rent within the first 12 months of tenancy, which is not permitted under NSW rental laws. The property is now being advertised at the same rent I had been paying. Across my five years of renting with various agencies, this was unfortunately the worst experience I’ve had. While I understand that property management can be challenging, professionalism and adherence to rental laws should still be the minimum standard.
